DISCOVER THE JOURNEY OF HOW IT ALL STARTED

Kim Chapman, a Georgia native and UGA graduate, is a first-generation rancher. To embrace this new way of life, Kim sold a successful business and left life on Lake Lanier to move to the mountains and embark on this new venture. He has a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Kaci, both in their mid-twenties. As a child, one of Kim’s favorite hobbies was collecting buffalo nickels, and he has always been a lover of big animals. This is evidenced by his canine companions, a Great Pyrenees named Prince, and a Leonberger named Samson. He is excited to offer his God-given resources to others and watch them multiply.

In His Own Words

It began in December 2021 with a pair of boots! That's right, I bought a pair of Tecovas boots and was added to their email list, receiving their newsletter: The Outpost. The very first article opened my eyes to the world of bison ranching. I’ve always had a dream to own land and have a farm, but I could never get excited about raising most animals. Upon learning about Bison, North America’s largest land mammal and America’s national mammal, I became fascinated. I honestly had no idea people raised them on small ranches – especially in the east. They are undoubtedly one of God’s most majestic creations!

A VISIONARY PARTNERSHIP FOR UNFORGETTABLE EVENTS

Along with my business partner, Adam Lawrence, we are designing a place where people can come and appreciate these magnificent creatures and learn more about their significant impact on the history of our great country. We are building a 5,400 sq ft. modern venue with a rustic flair that will host all types of events including the most magical weddings as well as many types of celebrations, corporate outings and school field trips. We are also planning to have 4 rustic modern cabins that will house a total of 30 guests.
